How do I save a recipe from a printed cookbook?

Photograph the recipe page or choose an existing page photo in PantryAI’s From Photo importer. Include the ingredients and complete method, then check the extracted details before adding it to your collection.

Can I scan a recipe spread across several cookbook pages?

Yes. Select up to four page images together for one recipe. Capture the ingredient list and all the cooking instructions so the importer has the details it needs.

Can I scan an entire cookbook at once?

The current photo workflow imports one recipe at a time, using up to four images for that recipe. It does not scan or import an entire cookbook at once.

Can I use a cookbook recipe in a meal plan?

Yes. Once saved, a recipe imported from a page photo can be added to your meal plan and used to build a grocery list, alongside your other PantryAI recipes.

How much does cookbook recipe importing cost?
