Saving recipes from TikTok: FAQ
Need a hand with an import? Our Help Center has more tips.
How do I save a recipe from TikTok?
Open the TikTok, tap Share, and choose PantryAI through the iPhone share sheet. You can also copy the video link and paste it into From URL. PantryAI imports the available recipe information for you to review.
Can PantryAI use a TikTok recipe that is spoken aloud?
The importer can use audio transcription when audio is available and the caption does not contain enough recipe information. Results depend on what the creator includes, so check quantities and steps against the original video.
What if the ingredients only appear as text in the video?
Take screenshots while the ingredient list and instructions are visible. Import those images using From Photo in PantryAI. You can select up to four images for one recipe.
Can I return to the original TikTok after saving?
Yes. A recipe imported from its TikTok URL keeps the source link in the recipe details. Open it whenever you want to see the creator’s technique or serving suggestion again.
Is there a free trial for saving TikTok recipes?
An introductory trial may be available on eligible PantryAI plans when it is shown in the app. Weekly, monthly, and annual subscription options are available, with current terms displayed before purchase.
